Molto Squisito

Our final dinner in Roma was at Spiriti e Forme one of the best restaurants we found outside of the classic menu of our neighborhood Da Vinzenza. In the photos you can see “oven roasted lamb with potatoes,”

After 4 nights and 3 days in Roma, we climbed aboard our beloved Panda and headed north to Umbria. The weather has been a cloudless springtime gift.

Umbria  is awakening from Winter with fava green hills, running crystal streams, and beautiful light cast upon the medieval  stone architecture. The mountains are still spotted with snow and very few tourists are to be seen.

We are staying for the next 3 nights at an Agriturismo, Casa Branca – run by Emanuala and Paolo. We are the only guests, as of now. Emanuela serves delicate four course dinners that cast regional Umbrian food in modern, creative dishes.

Yes, we are obsessed with food. We have rigorously walked the cobblestones and climbed hills for hours each day to counter our transgressions.
